About This Tea

Before the production of Yancha season begins in 2024, we are pleased to launch our selected Yancha Collection - 岩茶集. This carefully curated set contains 6 distinct packs, brimming with the essence of spring's awakening.

Expertly plucked in the spring of 2023, each pack in the Yancha Collection offers a unique cultivar and flavour profile - some floral and fruity, others with mossy and milky notes. Lightly or moderately charcoal-roasted to perfection, these Yanchas exude a harmonious balance of aroma, flavour, and texture. With every sip, you will capture the unique terroir and craftsmanship of the core Zhengyan area.

- Wild Shi Ru 荒野石乳: Lightly roasted | Floral nectar
- Eight Immortals 云雾八仙: Lightly roasted | Blend of jasmine and orange blossom
- Gua Zi Jin 瓜子金: Lightly roasted | Floral-fruity and milky aroma
- Lao Cong Shui Xian 老丛水仙: Moderately light roast | Woody and orchid
- Floral Rou Gui 花香肉桂: Moderately light roast | Chinese cinnamon and floral-fruity aroma
- Mei Zhan 梅占: Moderately light roast | Winter plum

*Tea leaves contain tea polyphenols and caffeine, which are the source of the bitter and astringent flavour of the tea soup, as well as the source of the sweetness. Reducing the amount of tea leaves, lowering the water temperature or speeding up the soup can reduce the bitterness and astringency.
